Lemon Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Best Italian Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook Best Italian Pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter with olive oil over low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add the drained pasta, tossing to coat. Stir in reserved pasta water as needed for a silky sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan and fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the bright, refreshing flavors of Italy!

Tip: Pair with grilled shrimp or chicken for a heartier meal.
