Simple Garlic & Olive Oil Pasta (Aglio e Olio)

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Best Italian Pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook Best Italian Pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over low heat and sauté garlic until golden. Add red pepper flakes.
  3. Toss in the drained pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a silky sauce.
  4. Season with salt, garnish with parsley, and top with Parmesan if desired.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy the authentic taste of Italy!
